[Willow]

A small town named Asher's Fot lies in a newly colonized area. Its citizens have learned to live there; they adjusted accordingly, and moved on with their lives. With a river on one side and forest on the other, resources seemed plentiful. Which, naturally, caused others to move in as well.

On the other side of the river, Asher's Fort acquired new neighbors. Gypsies. Coming to the town by water, their boats brought other passengers that they weren't aware of. Vampires, dhampirs, and werewolves hid on the Gypsies' boats. They went unnoticed, all the way until everyone was settled.

The river was all that separated the two. But it didn't stop the non-humans from moving between the two. With tensions already high from the two different cultures, murders started appearing. But the citizens and Gypsies, though afraid, were confused by the different murder styles. This attracted detectives.

But few knew that the vampires and werewolves are the cause. Hiding in plain sight, living day to day.
