``The whisperings of the the clear water gently running over the stones along the shoreline was prominent within the peaceful atmosphere. The sky was colored in a shade of navy blue, slowly fading into pitch black. The stars glistened ever so faintly in the distance. All of the daytime creatures had gone back into their beds. The nocturnal creatures awakening. Light delicate footsteps was heard throughout the dead silent forest.
`` A pale female emerged from the trees, somehow unscathed from the dangerous and prickly plants that was found withing the dense forest. The dress trailed along behind her, light brushing along the dirt pathway. The female walked out of the forest, running her finger through her brunette wavy hair. The bright moonlight hit the female's eyes, bringing the robin blue orbs to life.
`` The moonlight danced along her smooth delicate skin, creating dramatic shadows across her face. The woman grabbed her white and red floral dress as she kicked of her shoes, stepping into the ice cold stream, only going into the river far enough where water had reached just above her ankle. "Gah, Lillian you shouldn't be doing this." spoke the female, apparently talking to herself. Lillian looked up to the sky, why was she doing this? She does not know. All she knew was she felt like sneaking out at night and take a splash in the Sparkling Stones River.
`` This happens on random nights, almost every night actually. Lilly would get these urges to do something, this made her a bit of a rebel for sure. After all she is indeed the mayor's daughter. A mayor's daughter shouldn't be sneaking out at night and talk a walk through the dark dense forest and appear at the river. "Such a peaceful night~" sighed Lilly softly, as if she might fall asleep standing up.

Chadric was outside of his inn, but not for a stroll, no. He was keeping the town safe. The Dhampir was on the hunt for any damn dirty night crawlers that might try to harm anyone who resided in the town he currently called home. He had with him his small crossbow, his sword, and both of his daggers. Basically, his normal setup. He hid his sword, which was attached to his belt, under the black cloak that shrouded his left side. . As for the clothing, he wore a crimson shirt, buttoned all the way up, a black vest, black military boots, and black soldier trousers. This look worked for him.
He knew that vampires tended to enjoy staying around spefic areas, one of which was the river. Chadric headed there, crossbow in hand, under his cloak. When he drew close to it, he could hear someone speaking. A woman. A familiar woman at that. The hunter stood some to see that Lillian Asher was soaking her feet in the river, something that he himself never did.
Ms. Asher. Should you be out at this time of night? No worry, I won't tell your father. Chadric said before sliding over the bride railing and onto the grass. He slowly approached the woman, hiding his crossbow as he moved closer. A gentle smile came to his face as he approached and a non-violent aura wafted from him. Such was one of his "powers" one might say.

`` Lillian's blue eyes scanned the starry night sky, she had always often wondered why she was stuck in this life. She didn't like the ways she lived. She rather be free and not worry about a thing. Lilly stood in the river, moving her toes through the wet sand that rested beneath the surface of the water. Ms. Asher. Should you be out at this time of night? No worry, I won't tell your father." said a male's voice.
`` This caught Lillian by surprise, she let out a yelp as she jumped. She attempted to reach down to her leg, quickly pulling out a knife. Her fingers gripped the handle as she threw the knife directly at the new arrival. Thoughts raced through Lilly's head, her heart pounding against her chest, adrenaline rush pulsing throughout her body. Her mind frantically thinking is was some large spider that was going to eat her. Her eyes widened when she recognized the face. "Oh gosh! I-"
`` Lilly had interrupted herself when one of her foot had tripped over a rather large pebble. The gravity began to do its magic on her body. The female's body toppled over, landing on her butt in the river on a soft pad of wet sand. However, her dress was soaked with water. This girl can be clumsy at times. Lilly sat there, her face looking like she didn't even register what had happened. She blinked for a couple of moment before snapping back to reality.
`` Lillian's skin began to get goosebumps due to the ice cold water of the river. The wet dress began to cling onto her now cold skin, furthering defining her body shape. Lillian's body was consisted of nice curves and a great body frame. "I'm so sorry, sir. I didn't mean to attack you, I was only simply trying to defend myself and you took me by surprise and such. I think I should shush myself and leave." said the female, attempting to get into a standing position.

Chadric heard the hurried footsteps in the water then the sound of a knife, cutting through the air. Did she throw it? Wouldn't be surprising, he did just appear out of no where in the middle of the night. Chadric stopped the knife with the butt of his crossbow, lodging the knife point into the soft wood. He then heard the splash of water. Lilly must have tripped and fallen in. Poor, clutsy girl. When he drew close enough, he could see that Lillian's dress was wet and, thus forth, clinging to her beautiful curves. I'm so sorry, sir. I didn't mean to attack you, I was only simply trying to defend myself and you took me by surprise and such. I think I should shush myself and leave. Lillian said while trying to stand.
No. No. It's fine. Chadric said as he helped Lilly to her feet, then pulled the knife out of his crossbow and handed it to her. And, please, Lillian, I couldn't with a good conscience let you walk home all alone and dripping wet. The Dhampir added as he withdrew his cloak and wrapped it around Lillian. It was strangely warm on the inside, regardless of the fact that it appeared remarkably thin. If you'd like, the inn is just up the street. I have some dry clothing you could don if you'd like. I will escort you home either way. Chadric said, not seeming to care that his sword was now completely visable. It was strangely shaped, unlike anything anyone had really ever seen. His sword was also one of the last things many people saw, as they died shortly after seeing it because he killed them. Lillian was an exception. He liked her, in a way different from all the other townswomen.
Some might call it a "crush" of sorts. Seeing as he was half human and half vampire, he was still aflicted by such emotions as love. He never let it slow him down, though.

`` No. No. It's fine said the male, whom Lilly had identified as Chadric, a man that Lilly had just met not so long ago. The male's hands helped Lillian up to her feet. The female's light blue sapphire orbs looked up at the man as the knife was handed to her. Did he catch it? If so, it was truly a remarkable thing for a human being to be able to catch a spinning flying knife. Little did Lilly know that this man wasn't partly a human being.
`` And, please, Lillian, I couldn't with a good conscience let you walk home all alone and dripping wet. said Chadric. Lilly only simply stared at him as he took of his cloak and wrapped it around the soaking wet girl. Warmth wrapped around Lilly like a blanket. Lilly said nothing still, her mind was still going slowly and trying to register what had happened still. If you'd like, the inn is just up the street. I have some dry clothing you could don if you'd like. I will escort you home either way.
`` Lillian blinked and looked at herself, well that seemed like a good idea. Getting dry clothes was smart, otherwise how was she going to explain to her father if she shows up with Chadric, dripping wet? Lilly eyed something strange shaped that hung of from the male's side. For some reason, this made Lillian uncomfortable. Why was he wearing a sword? And it seemed so... mystical. The sword just had added a level of mysteriousness to this man.
`` "Uhmm..." murmured Lillian, trying to decide. "I think I'll take that dry clothes offer." said Lillian, her lips cracking up into a soft smile. Her cheeks turned faint pink, she was now embarrassed by this situation. Lilly shivered underneath the cloak which Lilly had tightly wrapped around herself. The scent of Chadric that had been embedded within the cloak had floated into her nostrils. To be honest, she liked the scent and for some reason, made her quite calm.

Chadric smiled at the small woman, who apparently enjoyed his cloak. It was something he picked up along his travels in the icey mountains of north Asia. He could almost feel Lillian eyeing his sword, which was understandable seeing as it was a rather strange looking weapon. I think I'll take that dry clothes offer. Lillian said as a faint pink tinge came to her soft cheeks. Such a beautiful woman she was. But that was for another time. Very well, if you would stay close by me. It's dangerous at night. The Dhampir said as he brushed his long hair out of his eyes. He gently clasped Lillian's hand with his left hand, seeing as he was right handed and his sword was on his left side. One in his such profession could never be too careful.
Chadric lead Lillian back to the inn, keeping to the streets. When they arrived, it was very clear just how late it was outside. Everyone was already asleep at the inn, even though it was a relatively big pub as well. Eh. This didn't effect Chadric at all. You can change in my room, it's just right there. He said as he pointed to the door behind the counter. His room was a rather large one with many nice things in it. Nothing too flashy or extraordinary, but it suited his tastes. A large bed with crimson silk sheets, gold wine glasses, his large oak armoire. All his furniture looked like it fit with Chadric himself. Dark, but smooth and refined.
And here you go, Ms. Asher. Chad said as he handed the woman a stack of clothing. People tend to rent rooms then forget things in there. Don't worry, I've had the clothing washed many times to make sure they were clean. He added with a smile. The clothing that Lillian held was a fine, expensive, blue silk dress, and all the undergarments, minus a corset, she might need, if she chose to wear them. They were even made of high quality fibers. All the clothes were small, so they seemed as though they'd fit Lillian perfectly.
I do hope they fit you. I'm sure they will. The Dhampir said before sitting in one of his armchairs in front of the fireplace. Take your time, and if you need anything, call for me.

`` Very well, if you would stay close by me. It's dangerous at night. stated Chadric. Lilly nodded quietly, trusting Chadric to protect from all kinds of spiders they might've spotted along the way. His hand gently clasped her left hand, the pink tint that had formed within her cheek darkened. Lillian's mind was racing, thinking many random thought and mostly spacing out the whole walk home.
`` Finally they arrived upon the Red Maple Inn, at this time of the night, it seemed like everyone had gone to bed. You can change in my room, it's just right there. said Chadric as his finger pointed to the door behind the counter. Lilly nodded, still not saying a word. And here you go, Ms. Asher. said the male as he handed Lilly a stack of clothing. People tend to rent rooms then forget things in there. Don't worry, I've had the clothing washed many times to make sure they were clean.
`` Lillian smiled, she wouldn't even minded that if they were rags. She just wanted something dry at this point. I do hope they fit you. I'm sure they will. said the male before taking a seat in the chair. Take your time, and if you need anything, call for me. "Thanks." said Lilly shyly. She turned around and entered into Chadric's room which was unusually dark yet it still looked nice.
Lillians blue eyes scanned the furniture. It was not that bad looking. In fact Lillian loved it. Lillian pulled the door behind her, not completely shutting it all the way in fear she might get locked into this room or something. With the door slightly cracked open, Lillian placed the clothings gently on the red silk bed. The brunette took the cloak off, then her dress, then untied her soaking wet corset, leaving her standing still cold.
`` Quickly, she placed on the dry undergarments Then she pulled the blue elaborate high quality dress onto her body. It had fitted her rather nicely. This dress showed her seductive curves, a bit of a cleavage and nicely defined her body. The wavy rebellious brunette turned around, facing the door, placing her cold hand on the knob. She opened up and walked out into the inn, Chadric's cloak rested within her other hand. "Thank you for your generous offer." said Lilly shyly, blushing once again

Chadric stared into the flames that lit the room. The fire seemed to dance and sing for it's audience of one. He was still listening for Lilly's return, however, he didn't hear his door close all the way. Strange. She must have thought that she'd lock herself in. A rational idea, seeing as she was in an unfamiliar place. Thank you for your generous offer. Chadric heard Lillian say as she emerged from his room. Anytime. You may keep that dress, if you'd like. And if you leave your wet clothes here, I'll have them cleaned and I'll bring them to you. He said as he stood up and smiled at Lillian. She looked amazing in the dress. Stunning some might say. Like an angel, if those even existed, to Chadric though.
You're free to stay as long as you'd like, but when you're ready to return home, tell me so I can escort you. Chad stated generously. Help yourself to anything I have here. You might even want to browse my bookshelves. My collection holds almost any book you could dream of. He added with motion over towards a corner of the room, close to the counter, that was covered in bookshelves and even just by looking, one could tell that there were more than the normal amount of books.
